In-Building Public Safety Communication
First responders need consistent reception for their land mobile radio (LMR) communications inside buildings. The Public Safety Radio communications systems can be attenuated, or blocked, by the building materials, causing an inability to communicate inside. That is where Emergency Responder Radio Coverage Systems (ERRCS) come in. Using a rooftop antenna feeding into a public safety BDA (Bi-Directional Amplifier), we distribute the signal throughout the building using a system of antennas. This is called a DAS (distributed antenna system). The end result is clear communication throughout the building keeping first responders safe in the event of an emergency.
